The full scope implementation resulted in streamlining and automation of customer service business processes, significant improvements to the quality of meter data, accuracy and timeliness of billing.
Automated configurable, MDM Validation, Edit and Estimation (VEE) ensures only quality Smart Meter data flows through to the billing engine to streamline bill processing.
The flexible and configurable modern design of the billing engine and bill presentment allows the Utility to respond rapidly to comply with Regulatory changes at a low service and support cost.

The Metering department also utilizes the MDM Configurable Business Rules Engine to monitor Meter and Network Health to proactively resolve Meter performance issues that could impact meter data quality and affect CIS Billing.

Water Utility launches full Rollout of 35,000 Smart Meters using Next Generation MDM and Customer Move In/Out Portal in the JOMAR Private Cloud
A Water Utility serving a community of 133,000 residents received formal City council approval to move forward with the full roll out of 35,000 Smart Meters. The roll out supports the City Water Conservation Initiatives utilizing the JOMAR MDM integrated with the Sensus AMI.
The initial Pilot Project included deployment of Smart Meters at Residential as well as Institutional and Commercial locations. The implementation will include integration with the Utility Legacy CIS.
